Together with our office manager and our Registered Dental Assistants, we specialize in providing a relaxed and comfortable dental experience for your child. Pediatric Dentistry Services
At Tustin Pediatric Dentistry, we meet all of your pediatric dental care needs. We care for children as young as one year of age. We recommend that every child have a regular cleaning to remove plaque and tartar every six months. Fluoride applications are usually done at this time, as well, in order to strengthen the teeth.
Dental sealants can be applied to further strengthen the teeth and protect them. Sealants are composed of a liquid that is painted on to the grooves in the teeth. The sealant is then cured with a special wand. When it has hardened, it protects the teeth from cavities. If your child gets a cavity, we can fill it using amalgam or composite fillings.
Orthodontic Services
Tustin Pediatric Dentistry offers orthodontic services, as well. Orthodontics correct any discrepancy in the bite. If the upper and lower teeth do not align properly, aesthetic and functional issues can occur. Those issues can be resolved through the use of braces and other dental appliances. We offer both traditional braces and removable braces, like Invisalign.
Our Standard of Care
X-rays will be taken at your first visit to help us view the jaw and any teeth that are developing. Our goal is always to make your child feel relaxed and comfortable, so we welcome parents to sit alongside their child through the duration of their visit.
We are committed to drug-free behavioral management. We focus on providing a safe and calming environment instead of using medication. We do use local anesthetics for pain control. If your child would be safer having dental work performed under sedation, we will help you to make those arrangements.
